Yesterday was Oscar’s night...

I only saw three of the nominated films, Blue Jasmine, Dallas Buyers Club and Frozen.

I was glad with the results for best lead actress and actor and for best supporting actor category, Cate Blanchett, Mathew McConaughey e Jared Letto as all three had really amazing performances.

Regarding Frozen, who won best animated film, I really liked the soundtrack.

Now I’m facing a long “cannot miss” waiting list, of both nominated and non-nominated movies.

I was not counting on seeing Gravity, mainly because it is not my kind of movie, but ended up being, even not wining Best picture, the evening winner… Our in-house critics (my big love), was doubtful about it, but after seeing it, became pleasantly surprised and told me that the awards were well deserved.

I wanted to see Blue Jasmine long time ago and yesterday I finally saw it.

I really enjoyed the film and confirmed the excellent Cate Blanchett performance.

I love Woody Allen films. The colors, the soundtracks, the characters, the places, the wardrobes, the stories...

Not one of my favorites, but it is certainly my kind of movie.
